Turkey, Austria Hold Talks on Regional Security Developments

(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation with Austrian counterpart Beate Meinl-Reisinger to discuss recent regional developments, according to diplomatic sources.

The two officials reviewed the implications of escalating tensions in the region, with Austria’s foreign minister also expressing support regarding the missiles targeting Türkiye.

Ankara reported that NATO air defenses intercepted a second missile that entered Turkish airspace on Monday, following the first interception last week amid ongoing US-Israeli strikes on Iran.
